International sales manager

At Microtechnix, we are shaping the future of pharmaceutical microbiology QC. With a growing global installed base, we are scaling fast and expanding our international footprint. 

To accelerate this growth, we are looking for an International Sales Manager who knows how to make distributors successful. You will report directly to the Director of Sales and take ownership of activating, supporting, and challenging our global partner network.

This is a commercial role where you drive sales indirectly: by ensuring distributors perform, stay focused, and win in their markets.

As part of a dynamic scale-up team, you will act as a key bridge between production, application, and AI/software—making sure both hardware and AI performance meet our standards before shipment. If you enjoy hands-on work, ownership, and making sure things simply work, we’d love to hear from you. 

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive performance of our international distributor network
  • Activate distributors: ensure they are trained, engaged, and actively selling
  • Support distributors throughout the sales process (without taking over deals)
  • Join key customer meetings to strengthen positioning and increase win rates
  • Push distributors to follow up, build pipeline, and close opportunities
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication of Microtechnix’ value proposition
  • Monitor pipeline and performance across regions and take action when needed
  • Act as the bridge between distributors and internal teams (sales, marketing, application)
  • Identify underperformance and address it directly and constructively

Qualifications

  • 2–8 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partner management
  • Experience with distributors or indirect sales is a strong plus
  • Strong commercial drive — you care about results and know how to influence them
  • Comfortable holding partners accountable and pushing for performance
  • Hands-on, structured, and proactive
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust while being direct
  • International mindset and comfortable working across cultures
  • Willing to travel internationally (~10 EU trips + 2–3 intercontinental/year)
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
