Application Specialist

We are seeking an Application Specialist with a background in pharmaceutical sciences, who is passionate about pharmaceutical microbiology QC. As part of a dynamic 10-person scale-up, you’ll play a key role in ensuring EMMA is helping our customers achieve digitization and automation of their Microbiology QC process. Responsibilities

• Drive customer success by ensuring our solutions meet and exceed client expectations. Develop, deliver, and customize both onsite and remote training programs for customers
• Contribute to the design and refinement of innovative workflows, helping customers standardize and automate pharmaceutical microbiology QC processes
• Lead the optimization of the graphical user interface (GUI) to enhance user experience
• Serve as the expert resource for the support team, addressing complex workflow and application challenges

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent relevant experience
• Solid understanding of Pharmaceutical Microbiology QC processes
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
• Strong communication skills, able to ask insightful questions and convey information clearly
• Proactive and action-oriented, with a positive, can-do approach
• Excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
• Based within a reasonable commuting distance from our HQ in Sint-Niklaas.
