Microtechnix specializes in developing innovative hardware and software solutions for microbiology QC, including the EMMA system introduced in 2024. Our image-acquisition devices and vision AI tools automate and streamline processes, reducing hands-on time while ensuring compliance with data integrity standards. We serve biotech, pharmaceutical, CDMO, and medical device manufacturers, delivering consistent, reliable, and highly accurate results. Company history

Microtechnix, founded in 2013 by Wouter Christiaens, began as a hub for engineers but evolved into a product-oriented company driven by the mission to enhance speed, efficiency, and reproducibility in life sciences imaging. Years of research into high-end optics led to proprietary, patent-pending technology that powers our EMMA product line, launched in 2024, tailored to microbiology QC. Early innovations like Teach & Read technology automated lab processes, and by 2019, we integrated vision AI to set new standards of accuracy and consistency. Today, Microtechnix serves a global market with scalable, cutting-edge solutions, transforming microbiology QC for biotech, pharmaceutical, CDMO, and medical device industries.
