Founder & CEO
Wouter Christiaens (CEO) founded MicroTechniX in 2013. Wouter combines degrees in Naval Engineering, Software Engineering, System Analysis and Sales Management with more than twenty years of experience in development, sales and support at Carl Zeiss Micro Imaging Belgium.
Director of Sales
Niek Van Overberghe (Director of Sales) joined Microtechnix in 2024 to lead the market introduction of EMMA, a revolutionary device for microbial environmental monitoring. Niek combines degrees in Bio Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration and Sales Leadership with more than 10 years of experience in sales, leading the effective salesforce and general business administration at MOLECUBES, Merck KGaA and Sigma-Aldrich.
Application specialist & project manager
David Turco (Application specialist & Project manager) joined Microtechnix in 2021 with a mission to create innovative and viable solutions that contribute to the advancement of research. His expertise lies in implementing concrete projects that have a positive impact on our understanding of the world. Prior to joining Microtechnix David held several positions in the automation team at GSK Belgium.
