Vacancy: Operations Manager

We have a global footprint and are continuously developing new tools and technology to address the challenges of today and tomorrow. In 2024 we introduced our solution to digitize and automate pharmaceutical microbiological quality control: EMMA.

We are looking to hire an operations manager that gets energy from getting things done and wants to be part of a 10-person scale-up bringing true innovation to the pharmaceutical microbiology market. Do you want to develop & steer the operations processes that enable a global roll out of EMMA ? Join us to make an impact on our business from day 1.

Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with sales to understand the customer journey
  • Oversee customer journey and experience
  • Align sales forecasts with production
  • Oversee certification process
  • Work on the documentation to enable global sales of EMMA
  • Analyze and optimize all business processes
  • Co-develop business strategy to enable Microtechnix to achieve market leader status in microbial environmental monitoring by 2030

Qualifications

  • You are located within driving (or biking!) distance of our HQ in Sint-Niklaas, BE
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A “can-do” mentality
  • A bridge-builder with strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical skills to quickly analyze and structure large amounts of information
  • Strategic mindset, maintaining focus on final goals without getting lost in details
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Good with people, both employees and customers
  • Scientific background or relevant experience is essential
  • Affinity with imaging and pharmaceutical production environments is a plus but not necessary
