EMMA offers a state-of-the-art solution for environmental monitoring in pharmaceutical microbiology quality control. It is capable of capturing and analyzing any type of Petri dish (55-90mm) with any type of medium, providing versatility and reliability across diverse sample types. Using Vision AI, EMMA automatically sorts positive and negative plates, ensuring accurate classification of microbial growth.

Thanks to an in-house developed, patented optical system, EMMA captures the full image of each Petri dish, including both the flat bottom and the side walls, all while keeping the lid on. This comprehensive imaging, combined with Vision AI trained specifically on negative plates, ensures a <0.1% false negative rate performance claim. By accurately detecting and distinguishing between positive and negative plates, EMMA enhances data integrity and significantly reduces the risk of missed growth, making it a powerful, reliable tool for pharmaceutical microbiology labs.
