EMMA offers a state-of-the-art solution for pharmaceutical microbiology quality control. It is capable of capturing and analyzing any type of Petri dish (55-90mm) with any type of medium, providing versatility and reliability across diverse sample types. Additionally, EMMA is compatible with membrane filters, whether transferred into a Petri dish or used with ready-made solutions like Milliflex™ or Microsart™.

Thanks to an in-house developed, patent-pending optical system, EMMA captures the full image of each Petri dish, including both the flat bottom and the side walls, all while keeping the lid on. This comprehensive imaging, combined with Vision AI trained specifically on negative plates, ensures that there are zero false negatives in the results. By accurately detecting and distinguishing between positive and negative plates, EMMA enhances data integrity and eliminates the risk of missed growth, making it a powerful, reliable tool for pharmaceutical microbiology labs.
